Constable Burton

Constable Burton

The exceptional topography and stunning countryside provides the perfect backdrop for wonderful days shooting over 3000 acres of Yorkshire Dales.

Constable Burton Hall is the centrepiece of the estate. It has been the private home of the Wyvill family for over four and half centuries. The house was built in 1748 and is a beautifully proportioned Grade I listed Georgian Villa, set in delightful gardens surrounded by mature parkland.

The Hall provides the finest accommodation and hospitality on shoot days, whilst ensuring complete privacy for the shooting parties.

The Head Chef takes great pride in creating enticing menus, which are inspired by the freshest seasonal ingredients, many of which are sourced from the kitchen garden and the estate. We can offer an extensive cellar of champagne, wines, ports, cognacs and whiskies as well as a fully stocked bar.

Meals can be served in the Hall’s elegant Dining Room or alfresco on the estate, or a combination of both which is agreed prior to the days shooting.

The utmost attention is given to planning each party’s bespoke requests and every care is taken to ensure that guest’s individual requirements are catered for from the J.C.Marsh team and the private staff of Constable Burton.

If required the Hall can provide overnight accommodation, with nine guest bedrooms, which has a very personal, as well as exclusive feel about it. It houses an impressive art period furniture collection, along with full use of the dinning room, drawing room, and the library with a full size billiard table.

The shooting at Constable Burton is largely provided on the existing pheasant drives, and will provide a lasting memory for you and your guests.
